CCM Bridge was founded by a practitioner who spent nearly two decades working inside the CCM industry. Not as a consultant advising from the outside, but as someone who configured these platforms, worked through these templates, and watched the same PDF accessibility failures surface at carrier after carrier, year after year.
The observation never changed: the platforms that produce regulated member communications were not designed to make those communications accessible. That compliance burden lands on the operations team, and the tools available to handle it have always been either too generic or too expensive to work at AEP volume.
The enterprise CCM platform your team runs was built to compose and distribute communications at production volume. PDF/UA-1 validation, accessibility tagging repair, and audit-ready compliance output were never part of that scope. That work has always been someone else's problem.
Remediation bureaus charge $5 to $8 per page. A single EOC mailing run costs $2,500 to $4,000. Across a full Medicare Advantage document set, that figure compounds every enrollment period. It is a recurring cost with no good justification.
Off-the-shelf PDF tools can flag issues. They cannot fix them intelligently on CCM-produced documents because they have no knowledge of how those documents were composed.
